Anya Breton is a web monkey, Apple fan girl, and crazy cat lady that is mildly obsessed with rubber chickens and wholly believes that Peeps are evil (Yes, the marshmallow candy). She was born in New England into a family of weirdoes. Being an only child, she quickly learned to amuse herself with quirky pastimes. It was only inevitable that she'd turn to reading and writing. After writing fanciful (and sickeningly sweet) love stories, Anya branched out into erotica, paranormal romance, young adult and urban fantasy. She currently resides in the American Midwest with her cats and a good man!

If you want, you can email me at drwateva@gmail.com I love books!! I have so many favourites and have read so many I can't list them. My parents and Friends have said that I'm addicted to books and that the never knew reading too many books could be a bad thing! I can be very deceptive. If you ask anybody I know they will all say that me and coffee shouldn't be together but I love the stuff! I also love sugar and many believe I go "high" on sugar. I am personally known for the amount of books I read and the fact many believe I am crazy. To I degree I actually am but don't tell them that. I am one of the few who actually match their star sign perfectly. I love writing but suck at writing other peoples stories. I love to do random things but I can never have the guts to do them at the time. I have been told that I think too much and over think things. I can have complete understanding of things sometimes but aboslutely none at others. Can you guess my star sign? I play the trumpet, saxophone, keyboard and guitar and can write songs. Is there anything else you would like to know about me? If there is I will happily tell you so just message me and I'll get back to you. Top tips: When a Customs officer asks, "Do you have any firearms?" Do not reply, "What do you need?" Realise that before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you’re a mile away and you have their shoes. Redheads are dangerous. Hydrogen Peroxide and Potassium Iodide together makes an awesome prank!!

So who is this guy? First, I'm someone who, over the years, has found himself thrilled, shocked, moved, unnerved, startled, intrigued, baffled, and swept away by a variety of stories from all corners of the human imagination; stories that reached me in nearly every form—books, movies, the spoken word—a story can take. What did my favorite works all have in common? Not a thing, other than that a person took his or her love of language and used it to make a world so astounding I had to visit it again and again. Second, I'm someone who enjoyed my trips to these worlds so much that, after awhile, I decided to try creating a few of my own. Since 2007 I have managed to generate an average of one novel or novella-length story each year, as well as a handful of short stories to accompany them, which I hope to make available here really soon. Finally, I'm someone who loves to be amazed. Aren't we all? And the best way I've found to stay in perpetual amazement is to always keep learning, exploring, listening, and searching. You'll never grow old, at least not in your mind, so long as you're greedy for new knowledge and experiences. Deep thoughts from a man who uses a piece of cake for his profile picture.

Iron & Wine by Candace Osmond Iron & Wine by Candace Osmond April 06, 2012 77676 words Sample 20%
Author bio:
Born in 1985 as Candace Osmond in North York Ontario, I began to travel with my parents at the very young age of four years old. I had lived all over Canada and seen everything my country has to offer, from the enchanting shores of Newfoundland to the gigantic snow capped mountains of British Columbia all by the time I was ten. I did, however, spend most of my life in Eastern Canada where I was surrounded by folklore and legends, not knowing how they would shape my personality and imagination for the rest of my life. Being the only girl of my age in a small group of kids, in an even smaller town, left me spending most of my time by myself and, in result, letting my imagination take over. I would sit by the shore and dream up stories of mermaids and other fantastic creatures to pass the time. Coming from a family with writers and artists dispersed throughout, it was only natural that I spend my time writing, drawing and reading. I dreamed of becoming nothing more than an artist, a creator of any kind. By the age of eleven, I spent most of my waking hours scribbling down short stories, poems and anything else I could think of, while adding my own personal illustrations. By the age of fourteen, I had won numerous local and minor arts and writing competitions. I excelled at anything art and literature related so, naturally, I planned to attend university for nothing more or less than that. In 2003 I planned to attend university for Creative Writing and Literary Studies. But, with the fear that I would spend all my time and money on an education and end up in a field that I may very well struggle to succeed in, I backed out and attended school for Design instead. Now, a successful Designer specializing in interiors, I met a man and fell in love. His passion and talent for art far exceeds my own, but he motivated me and awakened my old habits of staying up late and waking up early to scribble down dreams and ideas before I had forgotten them and they disappeared forever.

Josiah Childs lives in a small town in Iowa with his rather large family of four brothers and four sisters, as well as several different pets. The Legends of Zenith was written by him years after he and his brothers built a fort in a little thicket of trees close to where they lived. The fort they called Zenith and this is where they had many different adventures playing together and later he decided to use Zenith as my main center for his book The Legends of Zenith. This is the first book he has ever written and he wrote it with as much imagery and feeling as he could. All the art done in the Legends of Zenith is done by Josiah as well. He wrote the book not specifically for himself but for his younger brother, and they encouraged him to have it published. He hopes that others will like it as much as he does, and said that this book was written for the people that enjoy the fantasy world of strange creatures and desperate situation, and looks forward to connecting with others with similar interests. He would love to hear from you and know what you think of his work. You can contact him at josiahchilds@gmail.com. The House of Grey: Volume 2 by Collin Earl The House of Grey: Volume 2 by Collin Earl April 03, 2012 41616 words Read a sample
Author bio:
A native of Washington State, Collin grew up NOT liking reading stories or school in general. Girls, sports, and working held much more appeal for the young Collin. He graduated from Moses Lake High School despite lack of regular attendance then journeyed forth towards Boise State in Idaho where he received a B.A. in Social Science. His dream was to practice law with his father and brother; a dream that he pursued vigorously in his undergraduate education. Little did he know that his father would leave the practice of law and his brother would make plans to head to Costa Rica. While these career developments were unexpected, even more unexpected was Collin's growing interest in writing and story telling. After reading several stories (averaging a book a week for almost a whole year), he developed a story idea and started to write. Podcast novels, self publishing, eBooks and writing in general were much like his move to SOUTH DAKOTA (Yes, I said South Dakota); random and totally unexpected. Collin spent a year writing a story with a Roman Gods theme then came to a real and terrible realization: Fantasy fans are brutal. Absolutely brutal! If they like you, man they REALLY like you. If they don>t...well let>s not talk about that. From that moment, Collin spent many hours reworking his first novel, The House of Grey into a story that Fantasy fans (and everyone else hopefully) will enjoy, gleaning ideas from many independent literary sources from Indian folklore to Japanese anime. After graduating from the University of South Dakota Law School, Collin, his smoldering wife, and two beautiful daughters moved down the street from his Producer and co-author Chris Snelgrove in good ol' Colorado. Collin passed the Bar and is currently working as an attorney and vigorously writing fantastical stories for his fans. In 2007, Chris approached Collin Earl with an idea to produce the serialized audio version of a Roman Gods themed novel that Collin had been writing for some time. About a year later, The House of Grey was released and was an instant success on iTunes and Podiobooks.com holding onto a spot in the Top Ten for more than a year straight. After the success of The House of Grey, Chris and Collin collaborated to craft Harmonics starting with the first season: Rise of the Magician. Each wrote different character's perspective in the story and blending their writing styles to create this unique story. Chris has lived in a number of places in this great country called the United States, including Utah, Maryland, Florida, California, and Arizona. He eventually ended up in Colorado almost 20 years ago and currently lives just outside Denver with his beautiful wife and four wonderful boys. He graduated the University of Colorado at Denver with a B.A. in Psychology and currently works as a corporate trainer and business systems analyst for a Fortune 100 insurance company.
