By any standards, I have lead an extraordinary life. Not so much through choice, but by sheer coincidence. I always just seem to be in the right place at the wrong time, or vice versa. My friends all say, “You should write a book!” I thought about doing that, but then realized that the only parts anyone would really be interested in would be . . . yeah, the sex and the erotica and the weird. So, I decided to compile a series of stories about some of my sexual exploits. Some were planned, but most were not. I have also tried to keep them in date order, so if you notice any discrepancies, I apologize in advance. These stories are all based on fact. Over the years I have just forgotten some of the minor details such as clothes, eye, hair colours and exact words spoken. But the stories themselves - believe it or not - really are true, however incredible they may seem. Some guys have all the luck. Or not, as the case may be. And there’s been a few of them, I can tell you! A shotgun up the nose really concentrates the mind! I hope you enjoy reading along as I take you through some of the strange things and interesting women I have encountered along the way in my life. At least those I remember. I shall not reveal my true identity in order to protect those who are still living, but if you recognize yourself in any of my stories . . . thanks. Or, as the case may be . . . sorry! Just so you know, I am an average white male, entrepreneur, self-sufficient, college educated and have travelled quite extensively. My ‘accoutrements’ are slightly above average and I have never, ever, cheated on a woman, or been with more than one woman at the same time (other than by request and consent). These stories all took place while I was carefree and single. I have a few favourites, and perhaps over time you would like to share with me which instances you would have liked to have found yourself in, or ones that you particularly enjoyed. Incidentally, these are all heterosexual encounters, though sometimes with more than one woman. Again, often not through choice, but chance. If my spelling and grammar and not up to scratch, skip over it; they’re just stories, not novels or medical books. Some don’t really have a story other than being a description of what actually happened, which is what makes them interesting. So please don’t leave comments such as “there wasn’t much of a story” or there was “no character development”, etc. Of course there isn’t - they’re just real-life stories intended for you to read when you have nothing better to do. Such as when you’ve been a complete dick and pissed off your woman and are now sleeping on the couch – again! Some are funny, some are sad, and some are just downright weird and have no particular story. I just hope they make for an interesting read. Recipes aren’t exciting, but we enjoy the results. Some will be quite short, perhaps only a page or two, but I’m not trying to get them into the Premium Catalogue – they’ll stay on Smashwords and my website only. I also make no apologies for the language used. If you’re easily offended by coarse, hard-hitting language and descriptions, my stories are probably not for you. I call a spade a spade. If you prefer ‘shovel’, I don’t give a shit. Some women may not like the way I refer to their bodies or the language I use, but that’s just the way it is. Some don’t mind and actually like it, others freak out. If you’re a freaker, close the story and move on. If you don’t mind, read on and kudos to you! Also, I am British (Scottish), so readers other than Brits may be confused by some of my terminology and turn of phrase. I’ll try to keep the language universal, but that’s not always possible as it may kill the gist of the story. If you don’t ‘get it’, don’t worry. Try another one. Or as we Brits would say, “Suck it and see!” (try it) Remember: No one ever lay on their death bed thinking, “I wish I hadn’t fucked so many women.” A word of warning: I am not advocating sexual promiscuity. Sexual diseases are very real. Whatever you do, PRACTISE SAFE SEX! But most of all, the next time you are with a woman, make love to her as if she were the last woman on earth and it’s your last shot. You’ll thank me for it later. And so will she. Give her all you’ve got and she’ll take you to paradise and back – trust me on this one. Been there, done that, keep going back. I have a season ticket . . .

Hi there. My name is Robert Hendry, and over the past 30 years, I have 26 published Non-Fiction books in paper form. I recently decided I would like to branch out into the Fiction field, initially with a subject I have studied for a similar length of time, the Soviet Union. During that time I got to know a good deal about Soviet military hardware and operational doctrine, and after the break up of the USSR, it was interesting to actually see at first hand the stuff I had studied at a distance.Seeing a Termit Surface to surface missile fired for real beats any number of photos! The majority o COl War Era novels have a Western hero and Soviet baddies. In the 1980s, as the Brezhnev era ground to a stand, various factions view for power, and my novels have brought in a limited CIA or MI6 involvement, but the main action is between good guys and bad guys in the USSR. The First Novel to be relesed on Smashwords is "To Kill Our WOrthy Comrade", which covers a plot to assassinate the General Secretary at his dacha in the Crimea in 1981. The real 1991 plot took place at the replacement dacha just a few kilometres along the coast. The novel introduces the C-in-C of the Black Sea FLeet, Admiral Petrov who is drawn into the fight to defeat the plotters and a 19 year old girl communications rating, Lidiya. She is one of those girls who just seem to attract trouble, as you will discover in the Lidiya Petrova Series No 2 and No 3. I managed to get No 2, The Admiral's Woman on line, and if you felt that Lidiya had a pretty easy time in No 1, and landed on her feet, you will fidcover that things get a bit more hectic for the lovely Lidiya in "The Admiral's Woman". As you will have gathered I have these two very different publishing careers and I have thoroughly enjoyed both of them. As a historian, I have to rely on available sources, and imagination is not on. I grew up in the 60s and spent most of my teenage years playing in rock-n-rolls groups and experimenting with hallucinogenic drugs. I attended college in several locations but after earning over 166 credit hours I never obtained a degree because I changed majors 8 times. Through several people I had known I came to work and live at the PTL property run by the Bakers in South Carolina. After the public downfall of the PTL organization I begin working in the computer field and wound up in a high paying corporate job. I spent 10 years with a major telecommunications company, but was eventually laid off and had to scramble to find work. After the millennium I built a computer service business but watched it fail during the economic downturn. In the most recent past I have lived in a camper at several national parks and on a friend’s property but have not really had a permanent address for at least the last 10 years of my life.

Thinking, always thinking. Every time his fingers hit the keyboard or pen hits paper, something new bleeds out. There's no stopping the monster machine that is Ryan S. Fortney, author of books like PaxCorpus and hilariously short stories such as White Night. But the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania born author wasn't always this way. For a long time there was a power struggle between his mind; his creativity and the outlet through which it would seethe. Growing up, he had been extremely fond of illustration and cartoons. He'd sit around watching his favorite shows and with a pencil and a little tablet, he'd mimic that particular artist's style. In his teenage years, his sketching continued, yet he could never reach the greatness that he believed to be all around him. It just never felt right. The very last thing he drew was a strange work of sorts - The face of a woman and two characters that he thought might star in a comic book series. These very characters ended up being the start of something bigger and greater, when he'd turn 23 and finally discover what outlet he would settle into, finally, after many grueling, painstaking years. Ryan S. Fortney graduated High School with a diploma and exceptionally high grades in English and literature. Later, he would attend a few college level creative writing courses and begin his descent into writer madness.

Hi there! I never can seem to write a formal personal bio that is to my liking; it simply isn’t in my nature to be staid and proper and furthermore, referring to myself as “she” drives me a bit nuts. I’ve read that you should put your name in your bio as often as possible to drive traffic your way, I’m not interested in a virtual freeway, I much prefer the slower pace of winding roads with glorious vista’s unfolding over the rise. At heart, I am a poet; I would have my readers be those that also enjoy the journey, that take joy in life’s small moments of discovery. I am content that those who find me are those who pulled off life’s busy freeway even for a moment or two. I’m a mom, a wife, an avid reader, a writer and a poet – longest being the poet or perhaps the avid reader. My first (and so far only) contribution here at Smashwords is more of a biography that I could every write here. Lyrical Ramblings is the compilation of decades of poetic musings – they are as mercurial as a woman’s moods; they are the reflection of who I was, who I am and who I strive to be. I live in a small town, population 1407 and me, about two hours drive north from Wellington, capital of New Zealand. The Tararua Ranges are close by and they go on for miles, dividing east from west. The Tasman Sea is about twenty minutes away by car going west.Most of my stories are set in NZ, and I think that gives them a different flavour. For anyone reading One Man's Dream, the Turakina Valley is as described in the book, including the 17 acres. I'm from the Midlands in England, originally. I hope you are liking my stuff.
