The doctors never did understand why Mitt’s heart stopped during his colonoscopy exam; but everyone but the Newt Gingrich supporters thought it was tragic. Publicly, Mr. Gingrich cried with the rest of America and promised to incorporate Romney’s policies with his own platform.
Right Fans Poli-Talk summarized the platform thusly: “Lastly, Newt Gingrich played to the Tea Party's distrust of Washington. He mocked the establishment for taking so long to accomplish the simplest tasks and declared that DC needs bold, "unrealistic" reform. To that end, he promised to do the following things during the first twenty-four hours of his presidency: 1) sign bills repealing Obamacare, Sarbanes-Oxley, and Dodd-Frank, which he hopes the Congress will have ready for him by the time he's sworn in; 2) get rid of all of Obama's tzars; 3) approve the Keystone pipeline; 4) reinstate the pro-life Mexico City policy; 5) repeal the contraception mandate and any other Obama administration attempts to curb religious freedom. Basically, he stated, he wants to repeal 40% of Obama's program before his first day is up. It all sounded rather grandiose to me, but that's how Newt usually rolls.”
President Gingrich accomplished these and many other goals on his first day. He gave Iran and North Korea until June first of 2013 to disarm and dismantle all nuclear armament and facilities.
On April first, oil began flowing through the Keystone pipeline. On April second the pipeline ruptured over the Ogallala Aquifer. This contaminated nearly five billion gallons of groundwater, and formed a "plume" of benzene and other contaminants 40 feet thick, 500 feet wide, and 15 miles long in the first few days.
On May Day there was a nationwide strike. In response to the strike, presidential mandates declared Islam and atheism were not religious beliefs and therefore not protected by religious freedom and required all people in the United States to declare membership in a Christian religion or face imprisonment. The 99% of all women and 98% of Catholic women who had used birth control were likewise arrested.
On May 31, one day before the deadline to dismantle all nuclear facilities in Iran and North Korea, nuclear bombs exploded in Israel, South Korea, Japan, North Korea, Pakistan, India, Iran, and the U.S. west coast. The next day a dirty bomb exploded near Washington D.C. Every country involved claimed they only acted in self defense.
The economy recovered surprisingly fast. Those that survived the food riots, the nuclear winter and the plagues didn’t want for jobs. Unemployment was 0%, taxes were 0%, and government programs of all kinds were cut to 0. Anyone willing and able to work had plenty of space for a subsistence garden. With life expectancy at about 37 years, there was no need to take care of the elderly. Although there was still some looting around the world, travel was so difficult no one had to worry about other countries or even others ten or twenty miles away. Everyone was now free to hold the own beliefs.
Over the next few centuries; forests, meadows, and wetlands flourished. Desert prairie returned to western states formerly fed by water pumped from the Ogallala Aquifer. The great increase in plant life and the lack of use of fossil fuels reduced the CO2 in the atmosphere and halted global warming. Habitat for all the remaining wildlife expanded. Bio-diversity increased. Nature cleaned the rivers, lakes and ground water.
Gaia Earth was now the paradise human kind had always dreamed of.
