Love letters to Tanya

 
 
These were the letters police found near the dead body of Tanya.
 
My love,
                     I saw you first time at the water tank of the school and I asked you about the university rally this week. I knew that I fall in love with you right there. I think that I am good enough for you so you should have no objections in accepting my love. Oh god, I am sounding pushy but I am not. I am a very romantic person by heart. I also write romantic poems sometimes. I am a creative person by nature. College is beautiful since you are there. I wish I would find you before. Lots of time has wasted but we will make up for it now. Can’t wait to see you tomorrow.

Inspector took out another letter which was from the same guy.
 
 
Beautiful Tanya,
                          Why didn’t you come to the college today? I though you would be so eager to meet me as I was. Maybe you had some important work to do or some kind of house hold problem. I can understand. You can tell me about everything and anything. I will try with my life to make your troubles disappear. I am a good listener and all my friends ask for my help whenever they are down. Just let me know about anything. Not only I love you but I can be your best friend. I am really worried about you. Hope you will come tomorrow.

Dear Tanya,
                    I knew that I shouldn’t expect much from you because this is just the beginning of a new relationship for you but why didn’t you even talked to me. You just looked at me when I was standing on the water tank and you tried to avoid me. You know how painful it is when you love a person and she avoids you. At least you should try to talk. I am a great partner to have and I assure you that I will keep you happy. I am sure I will make you fall in love with me someday. Please talk to me tomorrow for the comfort of my heart.

This is the limit now,
               I tried to talk to you and you walk away ignoring me completely. What I should do to win your heart? Should I jump from the building? You would be happy then? I hope you will understand my feeling because you are so good from inside and there is no one like you. I need you as my girlfriend and I can do anything for you. See you tomorrow.

Oh my god,
                  Why did you do this? Please tell me. I gave you such a beautiful gift. It took me two hours to choose it. Such a beautiful heart pendent. I saw it in the wastebasket two hours later after I had given it to you. Is this the way you respect a gift from a loving person of feelings? How happy I would be if you would have accepted it instead. It had a dream and a purpose. Anyway I picked it up from the waste basket in hope that you will ask for it someday and I should have it at that time. I didn’t know the reasons for your throwing it. It might just slipped out of pockets and janitor threw it in the waste.

Tanya,
           Tanya, just tell me what I lack. I am ready to change myself for you completely. Just for your love I am ready to be another person. This is to prove how much I love you. I don’t know how you can act so heartlessly now. On the first day you were talking to me so friendly and now you look through me as if I don’t even exist. You are the most important person for me but for you I think I am the least important. Just tell me what should I change in myself I will become that person whom you could love. I will not let you down. I will be a good boy.

Is that you,
                 You insulted my love by taking such a step. I loved you with all my heart and you complained about me. What do you think that director would do? This education was not more important than you. I thought that you would respect my feelings but you insulted me in front of whole bunch of students just because I wanted to talk to you for two minutes. That’s it?
     You are not worthy of the love I have for you. And neither have you contained any good. Now I have no sense of self-respect because of you. You crushed my ego under your mercy less feet. I wished good for you only to achieve such horrible sadness. I don’t expect anything from you or anyone else now. But I will not let you get away with it. You deserve a punishment for this mistake you have done.
Now I hate you and you will know soon that I hate with the same passion as I love. I will save many boys from humiliation this way who would otherwise going to love your innocent face, only to have a broken heart and a shattered image.

Eighth: this one could come from the window but Inspector noticed that there were no shattered glass and the window was jammed in its sockets, probably not being opened for one or two years.
 
This was the 8th letter:
 
Dear Tanya,
                 I am outside your house. I have something in mind.

Police found out that there was no Dheeraj in Tanya’s college, neighbor and friends. And further investigation leaded to the facts that few months ago Tanya was rejected by a boy at college and she stopped talking to anyone after that. Deeper the police went, more they knew about Tanya. She was a lover of romantic novels and movies. She was punctual and she kept showing a heart pendent often but never wore it. A close friend of her said that Tanya bought the pendent herself from a gift shop. ‘I can give anything to get it as a gift ’ Tanya had said to her friend while buying the pendent.
But the most important piece of information that solved the case came from the handwriting experts.
 
All the letters were written by Tanya herself.
