Pink Jellybug Mink II
There’s a hot answer that follows you
The question is incomplete
A dog that don’t bite
Or rainbows at night
The gorgeous Pink Jellybug Mink
The rivers have all turned to ashes
The mountains have started to sink
No new clues here
Just my rambling cheer
So what is Pink Jellybug Mink?
A cop in the hall & cracks in the wall
There’s a toy in the kitchen sink
The definition’s not clear
But you know there’s one near
Give praise for Pink Jellybug Mink
The pretty Pink Jellybug Mink
The beautiful Pink Jellybug Mink
The immaculate Pink Jellybug Mink
The songs you once sang never got wrote
There’s a memory on the brink
It’s a missing link
It’s whatever you think
Touch the Pink Jellybug Mink
A solid ghost that wails at dusk
Or a glass eye that won’t wink
A 30-day hour
A clockwork tower
It’s everything, Pink Jellybug Mink
It’s the same as a mistaken savior
It’s a pencil mark written in ink
An empty trunk
It’s flick and funk
The infinite Pink Jellybug Mink
The yellow Pink Jellybug Mink
The elusive Pink Jellybug Mink
The somewhat Pink Jellybug Mink
Pink Jellybug Mink Zero
Play a game of pink with me and
Inflame everyone we betray so
Noisily and so brashly out
Kinship is lost to the world
Jeer to the jelly bug with you
Enthusiasm intact before it’s too
Late, before they
Lock away our joy so we can no longer
Yell about the wonder of losing our
Burden of life and
Uncover every
Grand design we’ve ever dreamed up.
Mister Grin is so
Irreverent, taking himself to the
Ninth level of mink, reducing out
Karma to nothing.
Zone him out and
Equip yourself with zeros
Rolled into ones, safe from the
Order of chaos that only the pink can instill.
Pink Jellybug Mink III
I paint on Velcro wings and I fly right out of my mind
A plastic interrogation won’t help, for I’ve got nothing to hide
Sometimes the wind runs through my eyes
And sometimes I die in the sky
The Pink Jellybug Mink makes the rules and by them you must abide.
The Pink Jellybug Mink paints me a song, a charcoal-soul “Swing Low”
And the King of All Dreams is a razor-metal singe with a halo that continues to grow
His pretty, broken machine is nothing below
And it ruffles my wings and I flow
The Pink Jellybug Mink and the razor-king Dreamer encounter each other, and know.
There’s a bald baby boy branded in blue with confusion etched into his skin
He and another, much yellower one, are far from being a sin
I take flight with him
And watch everything spin
The Jellybug Mink sits to the side, cries, and wonders again.
The Pink Jellybug Mink loves all the world
The Pink Jellybug Mink is a brown-bobbed girl
The Pink Jellybug Mink and a smiling curl
The Pink Jellybug Mink and a downward swirl.
Pink Jellybug Mink IV
On those occasions when you’re playing the tease
Or the next line doesn’t come with such ease
I’ll stand outside with my face to the breeze
And recite a couple lines that sound like these
Waiting for the gentle pain
I contemplate the deepest stain
And cleanse myself in winter rain
Then escape to somewhere just less sane
Buying a new life, or touching a star
Remembering a fight by your right shoulder scar,
Or a passionate fuck in my big black car,
And we’ve still got fireflies trapped in a jar
All of these things are what I like to think
Will make everything else settle and sink
To the edge of all real and slip over the brink
So nothing is left but Pink Jellybug Mink
Pink Jellybug Mink: “17”
It’s there on the brink
Make sure you don’t blink
Two glasses clink
And you take the drink
Discover the fink
Making lies with ink
Untangle the kink
Secure the link
Love them mink
It’s always pink
Inside the rink
Never to sink
Once to shrink
Sometimes to stink
If that’s what you think
Notice the wink
