Tainted Souls

Greed and desire means you will be consumed by fire

Nothing will save you from its burning desire

You will twist and turn, desperate to escape from its burning embrace

It will consume all body and soul

Leaving nothing but the memory of tainted souls

That were consumed by greed, desire and the fire

Music To My Ears

They are tied up, bound and gagged

I can smell and taste their fear, it’s delicious

Cutting into their skin and watching the blood pour out

Sends me into a fit of endless ecstasy

Finally the screams

Their screams are music to my ears

No Control

You lie there helpless, unable to move

You have no control

Anything could happen and you wouldn’t even know it

Your throat could be cut

Your skin could sliced

Freeing the crimson red blood

You could die without ever having a chance to say goodbye

This could happen while you are peacefully sleeping

You Can’t Escape

You can run but you can’t hide

Keep running, keep running

It will catch you

It will own your soul and every memory you have had

Eventually death will catch you and claim you for eternity

Sleep Tight

Charlotte slept peacefully in her bed. The young girl had just celebrated her eighth birthday. Her mother had given her a beautiful doll which now lay in the girl’s arms, Charlotte had named her Sophie. Charlotte was sure they would always be best friends.

Sophie had dark hair, red lips and clear pale skin, she looked a lot like Ssnow Wwhite. Charlotte always took Sophie with her everywhere she went if Charlotte was having a bath she would place Sophie by the sink so she could keep an eye on her.

Charlotte’s mother had noticed that morning that her daughter had a few light scratches on her right arm when she asked Charlotte how she got them she said she didn’t know..

Picking up the doll the mother check for any sharp bits but found every inch of the doll to be smooth, her daughter had probably done it playing outside and hadn’t noticed. Children didn’t always paidy attention to what was going on around them.

When Charlotte had to go to school Monday morning she was far from happy. sShe wanted Sophie to come with her, but her mother refused. Charlotte left Sophie on her bed promising to return quickly.

When Charlotte returned from school however Sophie wasn’t on the bed where she was left her, Charlotte searched her whole room and couldn’t find her anywhere.

She went downstairs to her mother in tears. Charlotte’s mother promised she hadn’t moved the doll and agreed to help Charlotte find her. When they enter Charlotte’s room there was Sophie laying on the bed where Charlotte had left her this morning, Mummy her mother wasn’t impressed and told her daughter to look more carefully in future. Charlotte couldn’t understand it Sophie hadn’t been on the bed when she had arrived home she was sure of it.

Later that night Charlotte slept tight with Sophie in her arms, all was quitequite. Soon the sun went down and darkness rose up. As Charlotte helplessly slept in her bed Sophie began to move, her innocent face now a picture of pure evil. Sophie cClimbed on top ofn the little child, putting her hands around her throat she began to choke the life out of her. Charlotte was powerless to do anything, she could only look at Sophie with fear and confusion in her eyes. The young girl soon stopped breathing and the doll let go.

Charlotte’s mother came in the next morning to find her daughter lifeless in her bed, there was nothing she could do, her daughter was already cold. Sophie sat on the window ledge she then produced a knife from under her dress.

Sophie stuck the knife straight into the young girl’s eyes, the poor child never even had a chance to scream or cry out for her mother. When she had finished Sophie sat by the window her beautiful white dress now covered in an innocent child’s blood.

The next morning Charlotte’s mother came in to wake her daughter, instead she found her covered in blood with her eyes missing. Sophie was smiling.smiling.

Haunted By Death

Is it possible to forget your past? O, or does it haunt you forever? If you run fast enough can you escape it?

Rachel thought she could escape her past, but she was wrong. Soon it will catch up with her.

It was dark and Rachel Harris didn’t know where she was. She could hear water running in the distance but she had no idea where it was coming from. Rachel thought she could hear someone calling her name, yet she never saw anyone, she was all alone.

She was scared, she felt like there was something following her, something that wasn’t human. Rather than stand around and do nothing she started walking, hoping she would come across something that she would recognize or someone that could help her.

As she was walking she felt the thing following her, it was black and angry and it wanted to hurt Rachel, perhaps even kill her. Feeling more scared by the minute, Rachel began to run. She kept running until she reached what looked like a college.

Stopping to take in the view, she realized that she wasn’t outside just any college, she was outside her college, the same college where something very bad had happen.

She didn’t know why, but before she could give it more thought, she started to walk inside..

Walking along the dark creepy corridor she felt death coming closer and closer, wanting to take her. ’Rachel’ someone whispered ’Rachel, come and see this’. Rachel saw her ex boyfriend Dean further along the corridor. ’Rachel follow me’ he whispered. He turned right and disappeared, Rachel followed him.

When Rachel realized Dean was heading towards the swimming pool, Rachel wanted to turn around and run away. Rachel turned around and prepared to run, but some unseen force stopped her and made her continue towards the pool.

As she got closer to the pool she found it harder to breathe, she feared her lungs would give out.

As Rachel got to the pool doors the moonlight disappeared and she was surrounded in complete darkness. She felt Dean grab her hand, ’you can’t turn back Rachel, I have to show you what you’ve done.'

They went through the doors and Rachel was scared out of her mind. ’ here you are.' Rachel felt Dean place something it her hand, it was a flashlight. ’what am I supposed to do with this’ she whispered, ’you know what its for’ Dean replied.

Rachel took a deep breath, turning on the flashlight she pointed it towards the pool. She really tried not to scream, she always tried not to scream but she couldn’t help it. Instead of beautiful, clear water in the pool , as there should be, . there was blood and lots of it.

There was blood and lots of it. She stepped closer to the pool’s edge and waited for what she knew would happen. She turned around to look at dean, only she couldn’t see him anywhere, he had vanished. She was all alone with the bloody pool, she didn’t want to be alone. Suddenly a hand shot of the pool and pulled Rachel under.

Rachel woke up in a panic and she could have sworn she was still dreaming because death was standing at the end of her bed. She half wanted to jump out screaming. Rachel couldn't, she could feel death closing in on her. She closed her eyes and willed for the Ggrim Rreaper to go away. As it got closer it didn't just look like death anymore it looked like Amy.

Amy didn't look pretty as she'd once had. She now looked old and decayed. Amy was now so close that Rachel could smell her and it was the most vile stench. Rachel could feel vomit rising in her throat. Amy wrapped her now skinless fingers around Rachel's neck and began choking the life out of her.

Rachel bolted upright in bed gasping for air. It was a dream, it had all been a dream. Her throat was drier than sand paper and she was drenched in sweat, with the nightmare still fresh in her mind. Rachel dragged her tired limbs towards the bathing, with guilt drowning her thoughts. The nightmares should have stopped by now but they hadn't, and maybe they never would. They would be an eternity of torment that she deserved. After all it was her fault that Amy was dead. Somedays Rachel felt like she shouldn't be alive, not while Amy was lying lifeless in the stone cold ground.

Switching on the light Rachel had to cover her eyes to prevent herself from beinggoing blindedind. After a few moments her eyes managed to adjust to the light. When she looked up she let out a horrifying scream. There on the bathroom mirror, written in what looked like blood were the words: You Will Join Me In Death. The message shook Rachel to her very core, it hadn't been there last night. That meant that someone had been in her house while she was asleep.

Suddenly coming back to life she switched off the light, ran out of the bathroom and dove under her bed covers like a scared little child. She didn't sleep for the rest of the night.

Finally around 6.30am the sun started to rise and light poured into Rachel's dark world. Slowly Rachel crept out of her bed and sneaked into the bathroom. Taking a deep she looked at the mirror. She saw nothing but her own reflection. This can't be happening she thought, it was there I saw it, didn't I? Maybe I'm going mad and I dreamt the whole thing. Then why did I stay up all night to scared to sleep?

Rachel checked the bathroom several more times before finally starting to feel safe again. Although she was still a little scared to sleep in case she had more nightmares. Rachel couldn't remember the last time she had gotten a decent nights sleep and she wasn't sure how much more she could take.

Tomorrow it would exactly one year since Amy's death. The police had called it a tragic accident, but Rachel knew better. Amy's parents were holding a small remembrance ceremony, and as Amy's best friend her parents had asked her to help organize it. Rachel didn't want to but its not like shethe could decline, that would have seemed strange. She wanted things to appear normal as possible. Even though Rachel wasn't keen on attending, she knew it was the right thing to do. Rachel thought about asking Dean to come with her, even though they hadn't spoken since Amy's death.

Rachel and Dean had been dating for almost two years when Rachel found out that he and Amy had been having an affair. Rachel had been heartbroken, and felt like she had been stabbed in the back, especially by Amy. She was supposed to be her best friend.

Rachel had refused to speak to either of them ever again. Rachel had been swimming when Amy had come over to try to explain herself. They had ended up yelling at each other. In a fit of rage Rachel had pushed Amy into the pool forgetting that she couldn't swim. Once Rachel realized what she had done instead of jumping in to save her she had decided to stand there and watch for a few minutes and enjoy Amy's fear.

Rachel however had underestimated the strength of Amy's fear, she ended up having a panic attack and drowned before Rachel could save her. Well, that wasn't entirely true, she didn't even try to save Amy, she just left her there. Rachel then had dried her hair and swimsuit before franticly screaming for help. When the police had shown up Rachel told them she had come to the pool for a quick swim when she had found Amy floating lifeless in it. The police had believed her story, but Rachel wasn't sure that Dean did. She had seen the suspicion in his eyes that night and they hadn't seen or spoken to each other since.

Rachel had been feeling extremely guilty ever since that night but she couldn't bring herself to tell anyone what she had done. After much debate Rachel decided to go and speak to Dean in person rather than over the phone, he might not speak to her otherwise. Even though she had been hurt by his betrayal so also missed him. She longed to have Dean hold her in his arms and kiss away the nightmares. Rachel wanted nothing more than for things to go back to the way they used to be before he cheated on her, before Amy's death. That meant having Dean back in her life.

After spending an hour and a half getting ready Rachel was standing outside Dean's house. She had yet to find the courage to knock on the door. Rachel hadn't realized until now how nerve-racking this was going to be. After standing there like an idiot for what seemed like forever she finally knocked.

Dean answered the door looking very sexy in just a T-shirt and boxers. Rachel licked her lips, he looked yummy, he also looked shocked to see her. 'Rachel what are you doing here?' Rachel was now more nervous than before, 'its Amy ceremony tomorrow and I was wondering if you would go with me.' Dean looked disgusted by the idea. 'No way in hell, I still believe you had something to do with Amy's death. We both know that she was terrified of water, she wouldn't have gone anywhere near the pool by herself.'

For a moment Rachel was too stunned to speak, finally all she could say was, 'I told the truth that day,' 'whatever' dean spat and he slammed the door in her face. Rachel felt tears well up in her eyes, the happy reunion she had pictured with Dean was now shattered. Amy was dead so why was she still coming between Dean and her. Rachel cried all the way home, by the time she got back she was emotionally exhausted. After a sleepless night she didn't think it would hurt to take a little nap. Climbing into bed she was asleep when her head hit the pillow.

However Rachel had more than a quick nap, when she finally woke up it was dark outside and her bedroom was pitch black. Stumbling around in the dark she tried to find the light switch, but when she did the lights never came on. She then had to search the darkness for the torch that she knew she had, somewhere. After searching for what seemed like forever she finally found it. Rachel tried the light in the hallway with no luck, she figured the power must be out. She would have to reset the fuse box. The torch didn't give out nearly enough light.

Rachel descended slowly down the stairs, she could see very far ahead. As she came to the bottom of the stairs she noticed a huge pool of water. Great she thought I've got a leak as well as a power failure. The fuse box was in the basement, Rachel hated going down there at night so she wasn't looking forward to this. The fuse box was at the far corner of the basement so Rachel had to step around and over all the junk she had collected over the years.

There were her second and third place swimming medals. Rachel was a good swimmer but not good enough for first place. Rachel only competed for two years before she realized she preferred swimming as a hobby rather than a sport. I really should come down here and clean more often Rachel thought, its getting far too dusty. Shining the light directly at the fuse box she turned off the main power source, pressed the reset button and the turned the switch and waiting for the lights to come back on. They didn't. Rachel tried not to panic but then things got worse, the torch light went out. It didn't take long for Rachel's fear to kick in and pump loudly throughout her whole body. Rachel thought she heard something, they sounded like footsteps. She also felt ice cold and the room began to fill up with the smell of death and decay. I need to get out of here, that was Rachel's last thought before skinless fingers wrapped themselves around her throat. Rachel's eyes flew open and she shot up in panic. Everything was okay she was safe in her bed. Looking at the clock on her bedside table she found that she had only gotten an hours sleep. Rachel was sick of these nightmares, so she was going to do something she hadn't done since Amy's death, she was going to swim in that pool. She was going to do it right now.

It was only a twenty minute drive to the college, but in those twenty minutes Rachel nearly turned back five times. However she forced herself to continue towards the pool. It would be the only way to put an end to the nightmares that had been haunting her for the past year.

Rachel took her time getting changed, she knew it was silly to be scared but she was. Now that she'd had more time to think about it, it seemed sick to swim in the same pool where your best friend had died. Especially since she was the one that was responsible for her death. However she needed to stop being afraid, so after getting her old swimsuit on she headed towards the pool.

Since it was late she had the entire pool to herself and instead of the huge bloodbath she usually saw in her nightmares there was just clear water. Looking at it now Rachel felt surprisingly calm. Yet she didn't dive straight in like she usually did, instead she dipped her toe in like she was afraid it would bite her. After testing the water she climbed to the top of the diving boarding. As she prepared to dive she could feel her knees shaking. Before she could back out, Rachel jumped off the board.

It wasn't her finest dive at least she didn't belly flop. She felt her skin hit the water, it felt good. Rachel didn't know why she had been so scared. To her swimming was the most relaxing thing a person could do. As she did a few lengths Rachel had a feeling she would be getting a good nights sleep. Closing her eyes Rachel took in the feeling of the cool water and as she did she could feel all her guilt evaporating. It made her feel good.

That was until something grabbed Rachel's ankle and dragged her under the water. Rachel was kept underwater by unseen hands. She reached the bottom of the pool and she could feel her lungs running out of oxygen. At this point Rachel believed that she was going to die, nothing would save her.

Her lungs were crying out for air. Then she saw Amy swimming towards her before everything went black.

Rachel felt like she was floating, everything was light and fuzzy. She thought she heard voices calling her name, everything sounded so far away. Her thoughts were all disoriented and she couldn't make any sense of what was going on around her.

The last thing she remembered was being in that pool. So she thought, does that mean I'm dead or alive? Rachel didn't have enough energy and she passed out again.

Rachel awoke to the sound of beeping, it was getting on her nerves she wanted it to stop. After trying unsuccessfully to blocked it out she gave in and opened her eyes. The bright light made it hard to see but she slowly managed to focus. Then she noticed the machine and realized she was attached to wires; she didn't like it, 'honey your awake, I was so worried.'

She looked over and saw someone's mum; no her mum looking at her with concern.'How are you feeling?' She felt like laughing she felt like shit her head hurt, that was how she was feeling. 'I'm fine, where am I?' 'Your at the hospital, you hit your head and would have drowned if one of the lifeguardsteachers hadn't found you.'

Rachel just stared at her mother 'could you please give me a minute alone I need to think.' Her mother Mrs Taylor obediently left the room. Once the Shewoman had left the room Amyshe picked up the mirror on the drawer and looked at Rachel's reflection. Rachel’s body would do nicely R.I.P Rachel Amy thought smiling

The Dream Man

If you found your dream man would he be as perfect as you thought he would?

Laura knew it was silly and stupid of her but she couldn't wait to see him again. He was perfect, gorgeous, and caring. She had found her perfect guy and he was all hers. She meeting him tonight. First she had to get through the school day.

Laura Knight isn t exactly what you would call the most popular girl in school. She can be painfully shy and often gets picked on for it. She has one close friend, Molly White who she has known since she was five years old, they also went to the same primary school and have stuck together ever since. She hadn't told Molly about Ash yet he had asked they keep their dates a secret, something that was just between them. Laura thought is was the most romantic thing ever, but she was dying to tell Molly, she was her best friend after all, her only friend.

As she walked to school she thought about what life would be like if Ash would just rescue her from her miserable life, they could run away together and never come back, they would be happy and content, never having to leave each other s side ever again. Now that they had met, she couldn't imagine life without him.

As she approached the school she could feel herself getting that nervous feeling in the pit of her stomach, this happened every morning and didn't understand why. She did this every day, five days a week, she should be used it by now, but she wasn't and she probably never would be.

Once inside she went straight to her locker, while trying to avoid as many people as possible. Luckily for Laura her locker was too far from the main entrance.

When Laura opened the door the first thing she noticed was the large blood red rose that lay inside. Laura suddenly felt I little pale. The rose looked exactly like the one Ash always gave her when they met. There was a note tape to it, it read: see you very soon, love A.

How could that be? She never saw Ash during the day, and certainly not at school. This had to be some sort of sick joke, but who would do this, who would know?

She had never uttered a single word to anyone, nobody could possibly know, yet she was staring at evidence in her locker. The bell rang telling the students it was the beginning of first period.

Laura jumped out of her skin completely startled. I couple of girls that were walking by started laughing and Laura could feel herself going a little red. Thats great she thought, the day hasn't even started yet and already I want to die.

Grabbing the stuff she would need for Art class she slammed her locker shut and tried to forget about the rose and the stupid note, she had come to the conclusion that it was meant for someone else and they had put it in her locker by mistake. After all what other explanation could there be?

She took her usual place next to Molly and tried to think no more about the rose while she waited for Miss Loren to begin the lesson. Miss Loren told them they could draw whatever they wanted, she wanted her class to be creative.

Laura wasn't going to have any trouble deciding what to draw, there was only one answer, Ash. The whole time she was sketching she could feel Molly's eyes on her asking a million questions. Usually the two girls wouldn't shut up throughout the class, but this time Laura was so focused on her drawing she didn't even look in her friend's direction.

Ash had been visiting Laura in her dreams for weeks now and she never wanted his visits to stop. Laura looked forward to going to sleep just so she could see him again.

Laura had never met anyone like Ash, he was kind and sweet although he was a little secretive but a little mystery was good in a guy.

The first time she had met Ash he’d turned up in what Laura considered to me a ‘normal’ dream. She had been walking through dark woods with Molly after they had taken a different trail back home from school, they had ended up getting a little lost and before they knew it they’d gotten lost.

Somewhere along the trail Molly and Laura had gotten separated so Laura had ended up walking alone, and even though in real life she would have been terrified for some reason she wasn’t.

After walking awhile Laura had ended up at a rundown abandoned house, something had compelled her to go inside. When Laura had entered the house she could hear crying, the crying was soft and faint at first but as Laura search through the house the crying gradually got louder. Eventually the crying lead to the loft.

Laura entered the loft, at first she couldn’t see anything, it was dark and dirty and Laura had a feeling she shouldn’t be here, but when she had tried to leave Laura found she had no where to go, she was trapped. Then the crying had stopped and a voice whispered ‘you found me.' A beautiful looking boy had then revealed himself ‘hello my name is Ash, what’s yours?’

Ash had taken her hand and kissed it and she had melted, ‘I’m Laura.' Ash had smiled a sweet smile ‘well Laura, you and I are going to be seeing a lot more of each other from now on.' Then Laura had woken up.

When Laura had finished sketching Ash she stopped to admire his perfect face. So was Molly, 'wow, who is that?' Laura slowly tore her away from her angel to look at Molly, 'just a friend of mine' she replied trying to sound casual. 'oh really, Molly replied with a slight smirk, and when do I get to meet him'?

Laura tried not to blush with embarrassment. How could she explain to Molly that she could never meet Ash because she only existed in her dreams?

It sounded crazy even to her. 'Erm Hhe's very shy about meeting new people, so probably not for a while.' Molly looked a little hurt and Laura felt guilty about lying to her, but Laura didn't really want to tell anyone about Ash. She liked the fact that he was her little secret.

Both girls sat in silence for the rest of the class, and when the bell rang Laura ran out the door. She wanted to avoid any more questions from Molly, Laura could tell she had lots.

The rest of the day passed by in a blur. She and Molly didn't have anymore classes together so Laura could daydream about Ash without being interrupted. She kept trying to imagine what it would be like to kiss him. Ash had a nice smile and his lips looked soft, like rose petals.

Then her thoughts were interrupted, 'Hi Laura, how are you?' Laura wasn't happy when she noticed who it was. It was Jimmy, her own personal stalker. 'I am'm good thanks Jimmy, and really busy so I have to go now.' Laura didn't like being mean to Jimmy since she knew all too well what it was like to be on the other side of it, but she didn't like him that much, and he had a huge crush on her. like looked at him.

He made her feel sick. He had braces and he always got food stuck in them, plus his skin was very greasy. Laura would much rather be looking at Ash, 'okay bye then' Jimmy called after her.

Just before she headed home Laura decided to check her locker again to make sure the rose and the note was still there. Sure enough when she opened the door it was lying there exactly as she had left it this morning. Laura quickly put the items in her bag before anyone could see.

The day was finally over and she could go home, and for once she actually wanted to walk home alone, but she would feel bad if she just abandoned Molly. Laura just hoped she wouldn't ask too many questions.

Her prayers were not answered throughout the whole way home. Molly would not shut up about Ash for one-second, she wanted to know everything.

How old was he?

Where did he go to school?

How did he and Laura meet?

Had they kissed yet?

Did he have a brother she could go out with?

Usually the two friends talked non stop on the way home, but right now Laura would have given anything for silence. When they got to Laura's house she quickly said goodbye to her friend and then ran upstairs to her bedroom, without even saying hello to her mother. Laura finally had a flower to put in the vase her father had given her when he went to china.

After spending all day thinking about Ash she wanted nothing more to go to sleep so she could see him. It was only 3.30pm but a little nap wouldn't hurt. Laying down on her bed she put a small blanket around herself and was soon fast asleep.

When she feel asleep Ash was by her side, 'Hello cutie.' Laura blushed, she was still very shy around him. 'Hey,' she replied. 'I missed you' Ash said bluntly. Laura blushed even more 'I missed you too.' Ash then leaned in and kissed her, and Laura felt her body go into shock.

She thought she had died and gone to heaven, this moment was so perfect she never wanted it to end. Ash trailed his hands up and down her back making her shiver with pleasure. When Ash broke the kiss Laura couldn't hide her disappointment. Then he faded from view and Laura was back in her room.

Laura wanted to be with Ash as much as she could, so when she wasn't at school or doing homework she would crawl into bed and dream of Ash. They were spending increasingly more time together. Laura was spending more time sleeping than she was awake.

She knew her mother and Molly were worried about her, but they didn't need to be. She was happy. Ash also seemed to want to spend more time with her, and he got very upset when she had to leave.

Laura never wanted to leave him either but she couldn't very well sleep for the rest of her life now could she? Ash would ask her many questions about herself, but he was very reluctant to answer any of Laura's questions about himself. Just when Laura was about to go to bed she heard her mother coming up the stairs shouting her name.

Her mother came in without knocking and she looked ing a little angry, 'you better not have been sleeping again.' 'I wasn't,' she insisted but Laura could tell my the look on her mother's face that she didn't believe her. 'I'm going away for a few days on a business trip please don't spend all that time in bed darling its not good for you.' 'I won't mum I promise.'

Mrs WrightTaylor smiled at her daughter 'good, I'll be calling in to check on you and I'll being leaving contact details on the fridge in case there are problems'. Laura hugged her mother.

'I'll be fine mum don’t worry, I'll have Molly over to keep me company.' Her mother smiled 'that's a great idea.' In other words youshe don’tesn't want me sleeping all day Laura thought.

She was glad her mother was going away for a few days it would be nice to have the house to herself, without her mother's worried gaze following her everywhere. She meant what she said she wouldn't sleep all the time. Just all day Sunday, nobody ever did anything on Sundays anyway.

When her mother left the room Laura did all her homework for the week so she wouldn't fall behind. After all the work was completed she ended up watching this crime show on TV where some boy murdered his girlfriend and then chopped up her body with an axe. Once it had finished she yawned and looked at her watch, but was disappointed to find that it had only just gone 9.00pm. Her mother had already left for her trip so she didn't see the harm in going to sleep early.

Instead of going up to her room she decided to sleep right there on the sofa. Laura lay down and closed her eyes.

Before she knew it Ash was right in front of her, it was like he appeared out of nowhere.

He made Laura jump out of her skin in fright and All Ash did was laugh. 'Sorry, didn't mean to scare you.' She would have believed him if it wasn't for huge grin plastered on his face. 'Why do you keep doing that?' 'Its fun, I like scaring you'. 'Well, I don't like it so please stop'. Ash just laughed, 'I'll think about it.' Laura tried to laugh, ' I have to ask you something, did you put a rose and note in my locker? 'oh good you got it.'

Laura thought he would deny it and tell her not to be silly, that it was impossible. 'How did you do that? Your not real, you only exist because I dreamt you up.' Ash suddenly looked serious, 'I existed long before we met you silly girl.'

Laura felt hurt being called a silly girl, She wanted to be a woman in Ash's eyes, not a child. Ash sighed,' come on I've got something to show you.' Ash tookcould her hand and suddenly they were in the woods, 'Ash were are you taking me?' 'To my house' he replied simply. Laura didn't understand it she made him up, how could he possibly have a house. Then she saw it.

The house was huge, it was almost the size of a mansion. 'Who else lives here? Laura asked, aAlmost afraid of his answer, how many more people had she created in this dream world of hers? 'No one, I live here by myself.' When she heard this Laura felt sorry for him, 'that must be very lonely for you.' 'It is' he said with sadness in his eyes, he looked like he was trying not to cry.

Laura wrapped her arms around him and pulled him close to her. Ash hugged her back for a moment before pulling away, he was smiling again, 'let me show you inside.'

The house was as amazing on the inside as it was on the outside Laura had never seen anything like it. 'Do you want to see my bedroom?' Ash asked her. Laura could feel herself going red, 'okay' she said quietly. As Ash lead her up the stairs Laura could feel her whole body shaking with nerves.

As he opened the bedroom door Laura didn't think she had been so nervous in her entire life, she was afraid she'd pass out.

Ash's bed was huge, bigger than a king size and yet it didn't even take up half the room. Ash lead her to it and they sat down. Laura couldn't think of anything to say, the only thing she could hear was the sound of her own breathing. She looked at Ash, staring into his deep green eyes like an idiot.

Suddenly Ash pounced on her like a tiger, and before she could figure out what was going on she felt his lips on hers. He felt so warm on top on her, Laura would have stayed here forever if she could. Then as if he had read her mind he said, 'if you could would you stay with me? I hate being alone.' Laura didn't hesitate to answer, 'If I could I'd stay here with you always'.

Ash smiled, that then his beautiful green eyes turned black. He had a weird smile on his face.

'That's all I needed to hear, now you will be here forever.' Laura would have laughed, but he looked completely serious. 'Your kidding right?' 'not I'm not.' Laura was suddenly very afraid, and before she it Ash's nice warm room but changing before her eyes. It was now a stone cold dungeon, and the bed Laura had been lying on was now a rack, that she was now chained to.

Laura couldn't fight her fear, 'Ash what's going on?' He flashed her a sadistic smile 'like I said I'm lonely, so I find girls like you to play with. I come to them in dreams and make them mine forever. You'll be here for as long as I want, I'll torture you physically and mentally until you beg for death.' Ash stopped talking and pulled out a sharp knife. 'Please let me go' Laura begged, 'Why would I do that?

You said you wanted to be with me and now you will.' Ash then sliced Laura's arm and watched with utter joy as the blood poured out. Laura kept screaming wake up, wake up in her head. Finally Ash began to disappear.

Laura was still screaming when she woke up. She was lying on the sofa in the living room. For a moment Laura felt relief but the she saw her arm, it was bleeding. She quickly ran to the kitchen to get the first aid kit her mother kept under the sink.

Laura rinsed her arm under the cold tap before wrapping it tightly in bandages praying it would stop the bleeding. Her legs then suddenly gave way and Laura collapsed on the floor sobbing. What the hell had happened, what she ever be able to sleep again?

Laura didn't want to be alone tonight so she called Molly. Molly was more than happy to, she even sounded excited. Laura didn't want to about Ash, she would be very happy if she never saw him again. An hour later Molly was at her door, and in that time Laura had consumed two cups of coffee and taken anti sleeping tablets in the hope that she would be able to stay awake all night.

Just as she had dreaded Molly wanted to talk about Ash. The only thing Laura could do was sit there shaking in fear.

Eventually Molly shut up long enough to notice that something was wrong with her friend. 'Laura are you okay? You've barely said a word.' Laura couldn't even get one word out before she burst into tears for the second time that night. She broke down and told Molly everything, not caring if she believed her not. She just needed to tell someone, maybe Molly could help her fix it.

By the time Laura finished telling her friend everything Molly looked at her like she was insane, but like a good friend was supposed to do Molly held Laura in her arms while she cried her eyes out.

A few hours later Molly was exhausted and headed up to bed in Laura's spare room. Molly made Laura promise that she was get some sleep, but when Molly went to her room she crept downstairs.

Laura made herself a fresh cup of coffee while she tried to figure out a way to get rid of Ash and stop him from entering her dreams. After staying up all night the only thing she had come up with was a stupid dream catcher. She wasn't even sure it would work, they were toys, nothing more.

However wWhat else could she do? Laura couldn't stay awake for the rest of her life, it just wasn't possible.

Just before 9.00AM Laura sneaked back upstairs and into bed so Molly would think she'd slept. Half an hour later she heard Molly hadwas awakened. She immediately came into Laura's room, 'are you awake?' 'Yea I am'. Laura hadn't looked in the mirror but she hoped she didn't look like she had been up all night.

They headed downstairs for breakfast. Molly poured herself some cereal, while Laura made herself some toast and black coffee. They had schoolclasses in one hour and Laura was dreading it more than usual. She just hoped she would make it through the day alive.

Before the day was over Laura planned to buy a dream catcher, it was the only thing that might save her.

Both of the girlsn them were silent quite while they ate, neither of them knowing what to say to each other. When Molly went upstairs to get dressed Laura made a flask full of coffee to get her through the day. She put it straight in her bag so Molly wouldn’t anted see it, she didn't want her friend giving her the same look that she had last night.

Laura had never really been one for make-up but before she headed out to school she put on some of her mother's concealer under her eyes.

As they walked to school Molly was the first to speak, 'you feeling better?' Sshe asked awkwardly. 'I'm okay for now.' 'Yyou know there just dreams right they can't hurt you.' Laura was getting upset 'What about the cut on my arm, how can you explain that?' 'I can't but dreams don't kill you.'Molly replied. Laura didn't see the point in arguing Molly just wasn't going to believe her.

Before they went their separate ways Molly gave Laura a tight hug.

Laura waited until Molly disappeared from view before heading out of school ground and into town. She would never have normally skipped school but it was life or death. She needed Shedidn'tto find a dreamcatcher and soon, it was her only hope. Laura thought it was going to be easy to find one but she was wrong. Finally she came across an antique store that had several of them in the window.

Laura half expected to be old and musty, but it was surprisingly clean and fresh.

Laura wasn't sure what a good dreamcatcher was supposed to look like, She hoped the salesperson behind the counter would have the answer.

She wasn't sure what to ask him. ' Hhey I need a dream catcher to stop this psycho that I dreamt up from trapping me in my dreams with him forever'. Laura doubted it would go down well, instead she went with 'excuse me which dream catcher would you recommend to keep out nightmares or even stop dreaming completely?' The man looked a little surprised 'you shouldn't want to stop dreaming, dreams are what keep you sane. However for nightmares I would suggest this'.

He went to the back of the shop and returned a few moments later with a complicated looking dreamcatcher.

It had weird looking symbols, and crystals hanging from it. 'This should do the trick it was supposedly created by a witch to keep demons away.' 'That s sounds like exactly what I'm looking for, how much is it?' 'Thirty pounds' he said shamelessly.

Under normal circumstances Laura would have found it a complete ripoff but not when it could save her life, 'I'll take it.' When she got outside Laura held the dream catcher up to the light.

As she stared at it she already began to feel safer. Laura went straight home and hung the catcher above her bed. She wanted to try it out immediately so she set her alarm on her phone to go off in half an hour just in case the catcher didn't work.

She really needed to sleep she hadn't gotten any sleep in also twenty-four hours. Laura threw herself onto the bed, not bothering to get under the covers or even take off her shoes. She was fast asleep in less than five minutes. The next thing Laura heard was a loud ringing, she woke up in confusion and looked around soon realizing that it was just her alarm. She was lying on her bed safe in her room. Laura could't believe the dream catcher had actually worked, usually Ash appeared the minute she fell asleep. Now for the first time in weeks he hadn't appeared, Laura smiled and went back to sleep.

When Laura woke up it was dark, she looked at her phone and found that she had ten missed calls and two voice messages from Molly. Laura looked at the clock, it read just after six.

She sent Molly a quick text message saying that she was okay and that she'd explain everything tomorrow. Laura was hungry it was dinner time, Laura wasn't the worlds best cook so she pulled a pizza out of the freezer. Just as Laura closed the oven there was a loud banging at the front door. When she opened it Molly burst through.

'Where the hell have you been? I've been so worried about you.' 'I'm fine I just went to buy a dream catcher and then I went to sleep.'

Molly just stared at her friend 'Are you kidding? Laura I told you they are just dreams, they won't hurt you.' 'Molly if you had the same dream I had you wouldn't be saying that.' Molly deflated 'I'm just worried about you' 'I know, but don't worry about me I'll be okay.'

Molly had a lot of homework to do so she did stay long. Once Molly left Laura began to wonder, had she overreacted?

The dream had seemed so real, and how did she explain the knife slash on her arm? They didn't get there by themselves 'you won't keep me away forever Laura others have tried, none had succeeded'. Laura looked behind her, Ash was standing there.

His once beautiful green eyes were still black. Laura felt like death had just entered the house. Ash moved closer towards her, Laura tried to move but her feet were firmly frozen in there place.

Ash got very close then leaned in and kissed her, his once warm soft lips were now hard and cold. 'I will own you Laura no matter how long it takes'. He then shoved her hard on the floor, when Laura got back up he was gone.

Suddenly the smoke alarm went off, and Laura was ready to fly into a panic until she remembered the pizza in the oven. The pizza was too badly burnt to eat, not that Laura cared she didn't feel like eating anymore. Laura couldn't bare to be in the house alone, so she phoned Molly and begged her to let hercome over andstay at hers for the night.. Molly finally agreed and suggested that Laura see a doctor, Laura she tried not to be offended.

She packed an overnight bag also taking the dreamcatcher. Molly had asked Laura to give her an hour so she could finish her homework.

Laura didn't want to stay in the house by herself a moment longer so she went for a walk, the fresh air would do her good. She decided to go to the park, it always made her happy when she was a child. Laura went straight on the swings, the simple movements made her feel free.

'You can run but you can't hide' Ash was now pushing the swing. Laura was trembling 'What is it going to take for you to leave me alone?' 'I just want some company whats wrong with that?' Laura needed a way to get rid of him, she just could not cope any longer suddenly had an idea, and even when the thought entered her head she hated herself but didn’t feel like she had any other choice. Sshe prayed Ash would agree to it, if he didn't she didn't know what would happen to her.

Molly woke up dazed and confused, she had no idea where she was. Molly slowly lifted her head and then regretted it when the pain hit. All she wanted to do was lie back down but she had to figure out where she was. Slowly getting up her legs just about managed to hold her up. L Molly lookinged around but she couldn't see much, but it looked like she was it a house.

She thought about calling out for help then decided against it, someone put her here and they were probably still in the house. Walking through the hallway Molly saw several doors, none of which she wanted to enter.

The thing that scared Molly the most was how deadly silentquite the whole place was she couldn't hear a single voice. The only sounds she hear was her own breathing and footsteps. She couldn't remember how she had gotten here, the last thing she remembered was going to bed. Maybe I'm dreaming she thought, she pinched herself to check 'ouch' nope this was real. I'll be okay she thought I just need to find a way out of here. Maybe I'll find a phone, that would be a huge plus.

As she got to the end of the hallway Molly found herself facing a wall. She had no choice but to head back the way she came. She decided to try one of the doors after all maybe one of them would have a phone.

Molly tried the biggest door first hoping it would hold the most luck. When she opened it she was disappointed, it was someone's bedroom. There was a huge bed in the even bigger room, Molly had never seen a room so big. Molly could hear water running and against her better judgment she decided to take a look. When she opened the door her mouth fell open in the shower was the most beautiful man she had ever seen.

Then he turned around and smiled at her, that smile made Molly's blood run cold.

Laura wished her mother would drive faster, Molly had been in an accident and was seriously hurt. She couldn't believe this had happened to her best friend.

The drive to the hospital seemed to be taking forever. Laura hoped Molly would be okay. When they finally arrived at the hospital Laura's heart was pounding all the way to her friend's room. Laura could hear the sound of the machine even before she entered the room.

For a moment Laura felt sadness stab at her heart, Molly was lying in the bed lifeless. Doctors said she would probably never wake up.

Laura looked at her friend who looked like she was sleeping peacefully 'I'm sorry but better you than me' she whispered.

Blood Lust

He walks up to me without saying a word. He has short blonde hair and striking blue eyes, his white shirt is open revealing a white smooth chest that almost looks like marble.

He is the most beautiful man I have ever seen. At first glance he looks like an angel. When he smiles showing white razor sharp teeth and I realize with fear that he is anything but.

I should have run away screaming at that moment for all my life is worth, instead I take a step closer to him to get a better look. His fangs are about an inch long and could easily kill me within a spilt second. I press my thumb up against his sharp tooth and feel it pierce my skin.

I pull it back and see tiny drops of blood. Of course he notices and gently takes my thumb and puts it in his mouth.

Keeping his eyes locked with mine he slowly and gently sucks it. His cool tongue feels good on my skin, I can’t help but moan. Suddenly he takes my thumb out and runs his tongue along his fangs.

I’m scared again, but I still don’t move away from him. He goes to bite my neck. I don’t want him to do this, so I catch his lips with my own. I can tell this move has shocked him and his body stiffens a little, although it doesn’t take him long to relax and he starts to kiss me passionately.

I pull his shirt out from his pants and run my hands up his back. I feel him grow hard against me in response.

He slowly pulls away from me and rips open my shirt in one go and then unhooks my bra in one smooth motion. Before I can stop him he brings his mouth to my breast and begins to suck my nipple.

I can feel myself growing wet. Suddenly he bites my breast hard and I struggle not to scream. I look down and see blood coming out of the wound. He starts licking the bite marks and doesn’t stop until they close.

He then looks up and are eyes lock, I thought his eyes would be hard and cold, instead I found them warm and almost loving. He continues to stare at me and I start to feel uncomfortable.

Taking my eyes off his I take of his shirt and throw it on my living room floor. I admire his torso, every inch of it is perfect muscle and pale skin.

He then picks me up and lays me gently on the rug and getsdives of top on me. He kisses me fiercely while undoing my trousers and starts to rub me.

He keeps changing the speed from fast to slow and then back again driving me insane. Just when I can’t take it anymore he stops to pull my bottoms off and to free his cockmanhood.

I can’t do anything except start at his cock, its huge and I’m worried he will hurt me. He senses my fear and doesn’t go straight in, instead his kisses my inner thighs. Then he did something shocking, he spoke. ‘May I’. Stunned, I can only nod.

The bite this time didn’t hurt as much as the bite on her breast, in fact he was sucking so gently that I started to enjoy it. When he did withdraw his fangs I sighed at the loss.

Now I am dripping wet from pleasure and he knows I’m ready for him. In one quick motion he slides inside me.

I wince at the entry and try to stay relaxed. He trails kisses down my neck until he reaches his bite mark on my breast and licks it. All while thrusting in and out of me. After adjusting to his length I manage to match his pace and soon all that matters to us is each other.

I bring my lips up to his and ourare tongues dance with each other. Before I even know what I’m doing I bite his lip drawing his blood, its cold and tastes sweet. This sends him over the edge and I feel his cold seed filling my hot body.

He’s not finished yet and he’s flips us both over so that I’m now riding him.

He takes this opportunity to play with my breasts squeezing my sensitive nipples between his fingers.

I ride him hard and fast, before going slow and sensual. I can feel my orgasm building and I can tell he feels it, he grabs me and pulls me further down towards him and buries his fangs in my neck just as I reach my peek. The powerful rush overwhelms me and I almost pass out.

I collapse on top of him and we lie there holding each other, neither of us dares to speak. I begin to fall asleep and feel him slowly lifting me himand softly kissing my cheek.

I wake up with a jolt, there is bright warm sunshine coming throughew the windows and I’m safely in my own bed. The dream is still fresh in mind and I notice that I amwas a little aroused by it..

Smiling to myself I head to the bathroom. As I’m brushing my teeth I catch sight of myself in the mirror and I freeze. There are two holes in neck. I go down stairs and into my living room. Everything is the same, there is not one thing out of place. Except there is a single red rose lying on my rug.
